Dominion Coffee Importers

It is our pleasure to advise you that Mark McKee has accepted the position of Sales and Marketing Director for Dominion Trading, LLC., effective July 1, 2011.

Mark has spent nearly 20 years in the Specialty Coffee industry.  He began his career as a store manager at Starbucks for two years.  He then spent six years with Tulleys in Seattle as a store manager, corporate trainer, coffee specialist and roaster. He trained the coffee staff at the opening of Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners.

For the past ten years, Mark has coordinated opening over 100 coffee shop ministries throughout the United States, as well as, cafes in France and the Middle East.

His passion has always been working with the coffee growers; helping them become sustainable by focusing on quality.  Mark has written numerous articles for Roast Magazine over a period of four years, focusing on coffee growing regions such as Thailand, Yemen, Indonesia and Ethiopia.

Over the past three years, Mark provided consulting services and operated a roastery in Canton, Mississippi which focused on “relationship coffee”.

We have known Mark for the past two and a half years and built a relationship based on trust and like mindedness.  We believe God has brought us together to grow DTC for the purpose of providing an even greater ministry with our Ethiopian brothers and sisters in Ethiopia.

Mark, his wife, and their younger daughter will be relocating to North Idaho the end of this month.  Their older daughter now lives in Seattle where she will be attending college, majoring in Journalism.  Their son is in the Marine Corps. You will have an opportunity to meet Mark and his family in the near future.  Please join us in praising God for the newest member of the DTC family.  May God grant them safe travel, finding the right home and continued reaffirmation of their decision to join us in ministry.
